Drive down southeast of Chiang Mai city about 50minutes/ 50kms. to Gold Canyon Golf Course in Lumphun- the brand new golf course in Lumphun. The course reflects the refreshing breath and surrounding with mountains and its beautiful nature. The fairways and greens are slope and elevation. The Gold Canyon ( previous The Gold Mountain ) is settled among a rugged and rural area not far from town center of Lumphun. It is surrounded by fields, orchards, woodlands, and canyons. Gold Canyon provides a golfer's delight in tranquility and scenic beauty.

Gold Canyon in 2012 has grown up into its full potential since the course has been officially opened since 2009.
The golf course is 18holes with 72 par length 6666yards and 7,329 yards from the back tees. Gold Canyon is a par 72course of fairly flat terrain. But be prepared to do a lot of additional walking as the distance from green-to-tree is long and often hilly.
The clubhouse and other amenities are fully operated.This course still provides a nice change from Chiang Mai proper and introduces golfers to what maty be a new trend in golf course design.
